CROP Walk
The CROP (Christian Respond to Overcome Poverty) Walk is an annual event for us at Gloria Dei.
Again this year, we will participate in the CROP Walk, our annual fundraiser for local hunger agencies. This year we will be walking with folks from around the tri-state area in a walk that will begin in northern Kentucky, come into Ohio, and return back to Newport. The walk will begin and end at St. John’s United Church of Christ (415 Park Avenue, Newport, KY). It will be a 3.5 mile walk, with registration beginning at 1:30pm and the CROP Walk beginning at 2:00pm. The walk will incorporate the Southgate / Taylor Bridge, the Purple People Bridge, and other sites along the riverfront. There will be walker packets available in the narthex.
