Service Sunday
Service Sunday occurs on the last Sunday of the month after our worship services and is an opportunity for our congregation to get together in a multi-generational opportunity for service and helping.
Each month a different family sponsors and promotes the service event.
March 29 - We will be putting together snack bags for Project Connect, a program that sends homeless and shelter children to summer camp.
This project was a great success with over 30 people participating. Through the generous donation of juice boxes and other goodies from the congregation we were able to make over 400 snack bags, each decorated and put together by children and adults of the congregation.
April 26 - We will participate with Keep Cincinnati Beautiful and the Great American Cleanup by picking up trash and cleaning up at Rapid Run park.
This project was a great success as well with over 20 children and adults helping to clean up Rapid Run. We picked up over 15 bag fulls of trash in our effort.
May 31 - We will be doing a project regarding literacy and helping children learn to read.
